my hair is a couple of inches past my sholders , straight with bangs to the side, any one know how to get a goth or emo look for me? also how to get my bangs to stay to one side and stay

Just get a hair cut that comes right up to your ears. Make the style really choppy. Make sure you straighten your hair. Dye it a black or really dark brown with some highlights in it. You could use bobby pins to get your bangs to stay, or gel them, mousse them, or hairspray!

I also like funky hair but don't fit the label. If you want your bangs to stay to one side you will have to use hair spray or barettes for a month or so to get your roots trained to grow in that direction.

I don't think there is really a 'goth' hair style as such, I guess its more the colour instead of the style, go with what style suits you best [Ask your hairdresser] and then dye it some colour you like. Mines red at the moment, I usually use Manic Panic hair dye for my hair, but it does wash out rather quick, so as a result my red will go orange! Colour Pulse is good hair dye too, its by L'Oreal. And 'Emo' look, just dye it black and get a big fringe cut in that covers your eyes : ) Haha.
