Your hair is too thick for that, i would have your hair stylist put a few layers in it. and use some pomade to play with the texture but that cut is actually intended to make your hair thicker.

Both of them suck! Try to be natural, that's the best. It's been proven that most of the people who apply gels or artificial materials, the hair falls off. DOn't get too addicted to it. Sorry, but that is the truth!

Go to a good alternative hairdresser with the picture of the style you want. BE SURE you go to an 'alternative' shop, and not an 'inexpensive hair-cut' place or a regular shop, though ... your hair is not too thick, but it is a bit curly ... and ONLY an alternative hairdresser (a person who 'specializes' in the 'modern hairstyles' for younger people) can do it correctly. It will cost more ... at my hairdresser a haircut STARTS at $33 ... but it will be worth it ... and you will LOVE your new look!
