You shouldnt cut your hair in a style that is complimentary to a music fad. You should cut it into a style that compliments your face and bone structure.

I didnt look at your myspace, but youre probably still young.. Find a hair style that works best for you. One you can manage easily, and style easily. Something that makes you look cute. Dont worry about whats in style. Make your own style :)

ive recomended this haircut to alot of ppl becuz ive done it to myself and i luv it!! your hair would b absolutley perfect for it. just dye your hair black and do the razor hair cut(w/ side bang) and then just add bright red tips to your hair and bangs. it would look awsome!! the tips just add some flare to the regular cut you said you already wnted. hope this helped and good luck ^_^

Like Bismark, whenever I hear the word fashionable 'I reach for my sabre'. Do your own thing. Short is easy to keep clean,doesn't need constant combing. If it touches your ears and the collar of your shirt. IT IS TO LONG!

No 1 all round...works for me! I used to have long hair so the transition was gradual (more so as not to shock me than to shock others )..No 4, no 3, no 2 then no 1. Wouldn't have long hair now...this is MUCH less hassle.

Don't go for these silly 'spikes' or 'v's, unless you're a teenager...they make you appear immature if you're older.

I always find short and spiky really appealing. About 2 around the sides and like 3-4 on top and just use wax as not as greasy as gel or even a gel/wax combined and just mess your hair up and that'll look rough yet funky! Dont just gel it down thats old school, and if you like fashion and dress funky u need a funky hair do so messing it up and just like scratching your head but less nails and that'll damage your scalf just mess it up and pull it about to get that "funky" yet "sassy" look.

Hey, i also hav long hair and am average height and i am also kinda girly so i know my hair stuff. first off i dont know if your hair is curly or straight but if its curly:

-Long and curly (this is the type of hair i hav)- get long layers. they look great on curly hair. a chocolate brown to espresso brown to chesnut would look great on a olive skin tone, then try some light brown highlights, face framing, just gradually put in that really blend it all together and look natural yet really pretty. hlaf up half down hairstyles look really good with controlled curls then leave a few curly strands around your face.

-Long and straight haired- get graduated layers they go from shorter face framing layers to long and it looks really nice and easy to style. with bangs or without looks good. get some lighter brown to blonde lowlights they are kinda underneath the brunette hair color and it adds a lil flair. wear hair down brushed and straight ironed with maybe a lil flip. no half up half down. you can spin it up into a clip. parted to the side or in the middle. whatevr u like.

well place a quarter of hair on the one side then place comb on just the top and give a small tug not all the way down that way your hair stands over to your eye on one side and another you can cut your hair shoulder lenght and when it is freached wash just shack it and trow it back and you could use hair sprays

Changing your part can make a big difference. It's easy to do and you can take it it out in minutes if you decide you don't like it. Side parts look great on everyone! I went from a down-the-middle part to a side and got tons of compliments!

If you have bangs, side-sweep them, kinda like on your avatar. Those are some easy hairstyles. For haircuts it depends on the shape of your face. Long hair looks great on everyone. But don't go longer than your belly button though. Short hair looks good on a lot of people too. But don't go too short, not everyone can pull off the Ellen Degenres look. Welcome!

Don't get brown highlights- on red hair that result is unattractive. I'd say get a combination of highlights and lowlights to enhance color without changing it too drastically. The shades should be somewhat close to your natural shade. Or, just dye it all! Try the temporary dyes first in case you end up not liking the color. Redheads look good with light brown or golden blonde.

A lot of people think being sad is being emo, but it isn't emo is a steriotype, and a kind of music (cough cogh* that is for douchebags)

I know that everyone gets sad, but it's the emos that cut themselves and go suicidal, and it's mostly to get attention. They never get over it.

Normal people cry, eat ice cream, and get over it, but they dont pull their hair in front of their eyes and cut themselves and start calling themselves emos.

Black with purple will look good, or even like a raven colour all over has a bit of a blue tinge in the light.

I think you should either leave your hair the way it is, dye it a darker shade of brown or just dye it plain black. Black hair doesn't suit everybody so maybe you should try gradually dying it darker until you get the colour that you want.

Okay heres the dealeoooo =]

I love EVERYTHING about this scene stuff. The prroblem is. i don't know if i could handle keeping it that way because all i think of is my future career etc.. What would they think etc.. Not just that but i have REALLY wavy hair. As soon as it gets wet it goes gross. I also hate blow drying hair or even standing there trying to style it. etc if that makes sense (?) Everytime i try to get it cut like a scene haircut. It looks AWESOME when its cut but i cant seem to get it to go back to how it was. Not just that but how can i be scene etc when im REALLY overweight.. as you can see they dont make heartcore clothing etc for plus size girls. So any ideas? im into chux, jeans, black jackets with hoodies %26amp; t-shirts. But i dont wanna look goth or emo. Maybe coloured clothing but still scene. if any of this is makign sense can someone help me please? Because i love the look i just need some help tryign to figure out how to do it exactly.

ahahaha go to concerts and ask around for hair ideas, dont be poser scene because thats pretty re re, but since you want to know the fashion all i can tell you id buy brightly colored shirts or shirts with you favorite band or snotty saying (see hottopic...) brown is a no no in my experience so are ugly shades of green and dark grey or mustard colors. however the pants may be a problem because you are larger than a size 0....aren't we all... dont try and squeeze yourself into a pair of skinny jeans that are three sizes too small like some kids, find a jean that flatters your shape STAY AWAY FROM SKINNYS, a good color would be a dark greyish blue or just a grey color, at concerts i see some acid wash actually coming back (eww) I would say shop at places like urban behavior (for jeans) and hot topic because they accommodate everyone. as for the hair you HAVE TO get it layered, get it razored down (to make it choppy) and STRAIGHTEN IT, then just use a thin layer serum to keep it straight.

The only way to achieve a "scene" hair-style is to actually spend forever styling it. You will need to straighten your hair, volumize it, and put tons of hair products to keep it the way scene girls keep their hair. I know a not of scenesters, and believe me, this is the only way. If this, alone, is too high maintenance for you, I don't think there is any way you can truly fit into the style.

As for the clothes... There's this place called Torrid that's similar to Hot Topic, but for heavy girls. I recommend trying there.

Apart from the scene look... I think a style that's really cute on heavy girls is the Rockabilly look. I've seen a lot of heavy girls pull this off really well, and it's a lot less maintenance.

There are a lot of places with clothing for overweight girls out there. You just gotta look. You could try looking in catalogs, online, the mall. Anywhere really. And to get the more scene look try putting little plastic bows and clips in your hair, wear dramatic smokey eye make-up, and don't just wear black -- wear like colorful checkered jackets or something like that. Don't be scared to add something else you like to the look because that's what makes it your own look, %26amp;%26amp; for your hair problem, get it layered a lot in choppy layers and maybe thinned out. If it's already thin it shouldn't be a problem to like straighten it. And using products and hairspray should keep it in the style you like most. Hope i helped a little bit. GOOD LUCK!(:

Black with purple will look good, or even like a raven colour all over has a bit of a blue tinge in the light.

I think you should either leave your hair the way it is, dye it a darker shade of brown or just dye it plain black. Black hair doesn't suit everybody so maybe you should try gradually dying it darker until you get the colour that you want.

I am getting a scene hair cut and i really love the whole look because it shows you are individual to everyone else not every scene kid looks the same.

I want to get hair cut and get it dyed and add some streaks and extensions too. But at school all my friends are ordinary looking people and i feel like i will not fit in well. There are like no scene kids in my school and there are like 3 emo people but i dont really like them. Haha, I live near you. And youre right, there are NO scene kids at all. But that doesnt really matter!

Doing the whole "scene" thing is about being individual and different, and not caring what other people think. Youre goal is to be an individual, right? It wont matter if nobody else is, youre doing your own thing and you should be proud of it. If anyone says anything, theyre just jealous cause they dont have the guts to stand out and be different from anyone else like you do.

If you want to be different, dont let anyone hold you back.

Also, if you friends say they dont want to be friends with you because you want to be scene or whatever, then they arent good friends. No matter how you look, youre still going to be the same person inside and still be a great friend. They arent really being good friends if they say theyre going to dump you just because of a little thing like cutting your hair. Seriously. If they care more about your looks then who you actually are, they really arent being good friends.

And lastly, dont forget that you dont really need to be friends with other scene kids just because theyre scene!

Ive met scene kdis and tried to befriend them, but it turns out that they were really stuck up and had no personalities. Im not saying all of them are like that, but you dont really need to have scene friends just because theyre scene! Im scene, but almost all my friends are just normal people and i lvoe them to death! So yeah, just be friends with people because you like them and not cos theyre scene, you know?

i don't consider myself emo or goth or punk or whatever when i dyed my hair black for the first time.. but i had big doubts about it and started to regret it because my skin was on the paler side and i've had lighter hair my whole life.. and i was scared that people would think i was trying to go for the whole goth look. but all that changed when guys started telling me how mysterious dark hair looked and how it was sexy because most girly girls almost always went for the whole blonde or highlighted look... most of them typically had lighter hair and therefore mostly all looked the same.. i was told i had guts to do this, and that it made me look more confident because i make it look good and more edgy.. =) i love my black hair.. it matches everything, looks good with everything and i love how i don't look like many girls, because many girls don't want to risk going there and dying their hair black.. so they all stay in the "safe" blonde/brown hair zone.

i have mideum length curly brown hair and i was going to ask if i should have my hair straighten at the salon instead of doing it every day :-( i hate doing it every day. would it be under perms?

As far as color: I say do what you want to your hair with the right tools! Meaning if you want your hair color to be black and red then hey go for it! Just be sure you go to a good colorist. Tell them your ideas and they should be able to fix you somethin up thatll suit your wants. If your a little too scared about going that dramatic with the hair color.. then do it gradually (meaning take the colors in steps instead of going to straight black) and you either: 1) get use to it and want / go more dark OR 2) realize it wasnt what you thought it would turn out like and go on to something else. This way you can easily make a fast change to your color if you dont like the direction its going with the dark look.

Remember once you go straight Black.. its takes some time to lighten it up to get a good healthy blonde or brown because youll be starting with really dark pigmentation from the black. Trust me.

As far as straightening it I dont think you should be straightening it everyday. Depending on your hair most people can straighten theirs and not have to straighten it for another 3 days. Remember straightening it is pure heat.. and can damage your hair if you use it everyday.. it contributes to burnt/split ends and unhealthy hair. Try not washing your hair everyday so you dont have to straighten it everyday. Maybe do like 4 washes a week.. depending on how oily your hair gets. You know what will work best for you.. but I would definetly stop straightening it everyday. And no need to go to a salon to get it straightened because theyll just use another straightening tool.

Always remember to use a Heat Protector when using any kind of heat on your hair (iron, straightener, blow dryer).. it not only protects your hair but adds shine and moisture. A really good one to use is by "Bed Head". The brand is kind of pricey.. kind of not..but its a very good brand that works. And you might wanna also look into their line called "Control Freak".. it specializes in straightening your hair... very good products!

I need a great brand hair dye for semi-dark hair. I want either BRIGHT red, Pepsi-blue, or a basic green. But it has to last long and work well. I'm bringing Visual Kei to Uniontown PA! (that that emo scene!)

For these bright colors, you will have to prelighten. The only thing that will stay well is a professional color done by an experienced stylist. Framesi has a great line of brights. Ask your hairdresser, and get a good color retention shampoo and conditioner to keep it bright. Have fun, but dont do this yourself.

Ok, Well i have orchestra consert to play in, and the guy I REALLY like is going to be playing too. I have to wear black pants (standard dress code) but my teacher is letting us break the rules a little bit, so I was thinking of wearing a Pinl shirt underneath my white button-up shirt.
