I think you should layer it because it's already long so you would have enough hair to do so.If this doesn't sound to punky dye (depending on how short you layer it) about 2-3 centimetres a different color.I think this look would be awesome becuase it could go from punk to cool if u have to go somewhere formal.

oh this will be easy ....have u ever seen a hair cut were its short like below ur chin short ...and u can spike the back up wit a lil gel or mouse.....tat will look awesom wit black hair and if u add red highlights it would aslo look awesome ....i hope u noe wich hair cut im refurring to , its a mix of wat u like but also preppy ....
