I want an emo hair cut. but i dont exactly know what to ask for when i go to the hair dressers!

i would print that picture out and show it to your hairdresser so he/she could see exactly what you want.

Okay - well don't ask for an "emo" hair cut. Haha, that would be a little strange for your hair dresser. The pic you have wouldn't be classified as emo, I would say it's "scene."

Your best bet would be to bring in a few pictures of hair cuts you like from different angles. Front, side, and back. Show the cuts to your stylist and make sure you point out the best parts of the cut and really emphasize what you want. If not, you might end up with something you didn't want in the first place - or a mullet.

PS: The girl in that picture most likely has extensions or VERY thick hair. If you have thin hair, you'll probably end up leaving the salon with something resembling a mullet. Unless that's your digs, then I'd go for something a little less drastic or bring the cuts length up to right under your chin or a bit above your shoulders. Keep it shorter in the back to prevent the mullet-effect.
