my hair is dark brown, and it's about an inch or two below my shoulders. i want long layers, or maybe sideswept bangs. if you could post pics of some scene/emo hairstyles, that would help alot.

My suggestion - be orginial - get a style that you like, that suits you - not what the 'herd' is getting done. After all the whole point of an alternative image/lyfestyle is just that - alternative. If you go round looking like all your friends, and there is not much difference between you - your hardly being 'alternative'
