Is my homecoming dress emo looking?

ok so im actually a really preppy girl. i spent about 3 hours searching for a homecoming dress a few weeks ago. i wanted something short, cute, original, and poofy, haha. so i bought this dress at macys.

but now that i look at it, it makes me worried.

do you think it looks emo? or ugly? :/

i mean. like i said, im not much of a..dark person.

i really liked it because i have sharp green eyes to match

and a blondish/brunettish with a hint of red hair color

and the dress just goes so well with everything.

im having second thoughts.

AWW! That dress is beautiful! I LOVE IT! It looks great, you're really lucky you get to wear that. Some girls wouldnt be able to (body conscious) Um it doesn't really look emo, but I think that it would look really cute on a preppy girl like you say you are. Very cute! Have fun tonight :)

I think its really cute and I would think the black lace trim would be emo, but I'm 25 and well past that sort of thing, so take my advice with a grain of salt. It also looks really anime-ish to me. Cool.

Its a very pretty dress. The shorter style dresses seem to be really popular this year. I wouldn't wear too much jewelry. Just stay simple. Your dress has enough character of it's own. Good luck and have a blast.
