so i was thinking about dying my hair black and i already sked if i should and people were saying its was too much so i was wondering if it was too emo or too dramatic for a teen girl. (oh ya i have kind of curly hair)

Black hair dosent mean "emo". What color is your hair now? Can you put up a picture? But if YOU like it, do what YOU want. If it dosen't turn out good, dye it back

If you want to try black hair, go for it-----just remember that it can make you look washed out, depending on your skintone. Also, if you have naturally lighter hair, the combination of light roots with dark hair can be hideous, so upkeep will be frequent. If you do get black hair and want to soften the look, try getting some medium brown highlights to avoid having a haircolor that looks flat.

My hair is naturally so dark it looks black. I do have to wear color to offset it though. If I add bronzer on my cheeks and some makeup and/or color in my clothes I dont look so Goth.

Dont worry about what others say. If you want to do it, it is only hair. You can always bleach it and dye it back

Unless you are an Asian, Indian, olive complected, or extremely dark I would advise against it. Certain skin tones don't carry off black that well, it has the tendency to wash you out and look harsh. I would however go with the darkest brown. It tends to look more natural and have the same effect as black hair.
