From extremely curly to emo?

I have really thick, curly hair and when I grow it out it just adds to the volume and goes outward so I want it to be more emo. So far I've grown my bangs to almost the tip of my nose, I have a flat iron that only straightens it out about %65 but is still remains poofy, so I need it to stay flatter and definitely more straight.

Help pleez!

Emo hair=veryshexy. Mhmm haha. Uh you should get it chem. straightned. Dye it black =] and and and get some parts bleached. Ohyes. Haha. Sorry, im a bit hyper.

Try using a moose or gel that's light, and meant to help straighten hair. Pantene works good, you could also try getting a better straightener, Revlon and Conair work good. But don't straighten everyday, it kills your hair! Good luck.

Word to the wise, don't get a emo haircut, unless your actually emo, that would be being a poser, which alot people seem to be doing. No pun intended.

I use something called citrashine for curls. It's a pump and the gel is yellow colored. For extra protection, I spritz with Frizz Ease pump. I have curly frizzy hair too.

As far as products go, there's this stuff that John Freida makes, I believe it's called Wind Down.. It worked like a dream for me, and my hair usually has a mind of it's own!
