Bangs with curly hair?

my hair is a little shorter than shoulder length and its very curly. i want to get bangs, but i dont know what kind to get...i kind of want to get straight across my forehead and kind of long, but im not sure if it will look right. i dont want it to look childish...i kind of want an emo-ish look? im probly going to straighten my bangs every day, but not the rest of my hair so it has to look good with curly hair not just when my hair is straight. thankyou so much.

don't straighten your bangs if you wear it curly it doesn't look right get side swept bangs and do your hair how you normally do it and your bangs will come out straight cos mine do

Well, I'm a hair stylist... my best advice would be that bangs would look good, and it would be a nice change- but I would only get them if you are willing to either straighten all of your hair or leave it all curly. In my opinion one or the other looks best. Combining curly %26amp; straight gives people a disheveled look. But do as you please! Good luck! :)

I can tell you from experience, your bangs will never stay totally straight. Maybe go for some sideswept bangs that would look good curly, too.

Yes...bangs would look super cute! You should get them cut so that you can wear them to the side. They are cut pretty diagonal like and girls usually were them to one side. That style of bangs looks really cute with curly hair!

Don't get bangs. With your beautiful curly hair, trying to keep them straight will just drive you crazy.They won't stay straight as the day wears on.( I'm reminded of a friend who has wonderful hair like yours. she paid a lot to have her hairdresser flatiron it perfectly straight and I watched it literally start to curl before my eyes right afterward). I think your hair looks beautiful on you as it is now!!

i have straight hair and get it permed, but this last time i kept my bangs straight. it looks good and i get lots of compliments. i would do whatever makes you feel good. it may take a lot of work to straighten your bangs every morning. if you are willing to do the work then i say go for it.
