I was thinking of dieing my hair a redish, that is very bright or a dark red, not to be emo or punk, with black tips. i'm just not sure if it is a good idea, i kinda suck with the knowing of the beauty tips and hair things.

im just looking for opinions!

Go to a wig shop and try one on the colors you are considering and see if it even looks good on you......

Being that your hair is already brown I would go with a dark,medium reddish brown an add the black on the ends like you would want to do..I think this would look better and blend better. Even a medium red with black tips would look much better.

I think it would look pretty good on you ... but try do get some low lights in a darker red or highlights in a brighter red ... depending on if you're going for the bright or dark red! the only problem is the red won't stay for long pretty because the hair can't hold the red color ... so it's gonna come out everytime you wash what means that you have to dye it at least twice a month.

Red is a nice color I use to have my hair red, well like a auburn color with red definiton... i got alot of compliments, just keep in mind once you dye your hair RED it really is permanate no matter what other color you try to dye it or if you try to go natural the red dye will always be the under tone the color will alway fade to a ashly like red....... basically you'll have to let your hair go out if you choose to change it :)

I think a red would be the perfect color for you. It would look excellent with your fair skin and light eyes. I say go for it.
